Sumana Adak (Correspondent, Edinburgh) : Corona episode; few news of utter darkness even in the light of day; a countless unfinished lives have gone out in this world. Apart from all this, we have lost Bollywood’s Rishi Kapoor, Irfan Khan.

Of course, they did not go voluntarily; they tried to live with the love of the people in the last days of life. Such a dazzling life where job opportunities in places like Hindi film industry is really attractive.

Another star was shining in this film world. But he left suddenly this world even he had fame, honour, belong to top of Stardom and of course there was no problem of money. He had everything that he needed to live, in spite of that Sushant Singh Rajput fought alone and left without hesitation; explaining one thing that life is not for fame or money; life means something else.

Sushant Singh left many questions to us with a huge mystery of his death. The Mumbai Police is investigating now, and the exact reason might be come out soon. But some of us are saying like a researcher that the death due to mental exhaustion, depression, etc.

Many questions have come up from every side, but the answer has not come. Kangana Ranaut, the national award winner known as the ‘Queen’, has personally accused the politics of nepotism. Is this true that the Sushant’s beautiful life finally gone due to the diplomatic game of nepotism?

In fact, the man who knows why he could have made such a decision after getting so much pain in his heart. He lost the battle with himself and he could have left so easily even after having so much.

Is Nepotism Create Controversy?

Not only today, over the years, family nepotism has entered the halls of Bollywood society. There is also a lot of controversy on the word of nepotism. Its stealth is flowing silently in many sections of the film world even sometimes in our society also.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death once again raised the question mark towards the word nepotism. Was he really a victim of nepotism? It’s meaning only negative? Or are there some positive aspects of nepotism?

Sushant’s had no filmy background and he had no influence. He had only a wonderful artistic skill. Even from outside the Bollywood family whose skill was outstanding; he broke the middle class boundaries and wanted to establish his dreams.

The characters of his film which he played, are just silent spectators of all events. They know everything of Sushant’s life, and how much tears of Sushant’s eyes. There was no additional opportunity of family system in Sushant Singh Rajput’s life. There was no Godfather hence he made his own fans as Godfather.

The struggle of Mithun Chakraborty, Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar at that time was enough to make their place in the industry for thirty-four years from outside the family system. Despite being the son of Harivansh Rai Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan had to go through a lot of pressure over the years to survive in this Bollywood industry. The music world has not been left out of this kind of complex game.

Sachin Dev Burman’s son Rahul Dev Burman, Ashok kumar’s brother Kishore Kumar had to struggle a lot in those days to survive in the industry. Manna Dey, Gulzar had shown a positive aspect of nepotism.

Film City Is World Of Art, So, Why ‘Nepotism’?

We all know that Bollywood is a world of art. But nowadays there are so many allegations of “nepotism.” It’s really sad news to us. No one exactly knows what is happening in the music industry or the film world. How many or reality events come out regularly? Sometimes under the light of dazzling glamor huge truths are obscured.

Not only in the film world, but also in the music industry, the tide of nepotism is flowing terribly. A couple of days ago, Sonu Nigam complained on this, and now it’s a viral news on social media. Another victim of this game is Salim Sulaiman who is now been seen as a judge of reality TV show.

In the last ten years, popular singers or music composers like Shankar Mahadevan, Abhijit Bhattacharya, Shann, Udit Narayan and Shantanu Moitra have not got the opportunity to do playback. At the fingertips of a class of people, everything is now determined; they fixed the future of all artists.

This is really unfortunate for us and even to the next generation who is really interested to enter the world of glamor. In fact, most of the people in this film world are selfish and their close friends can only gather together. Those who oppose to them, quickly their place would be outside of this film industry.

Even popular celebrities are desperate to get their children a place in Bollywood and they also support to nepotism. Some People like Dharmendra, Jitendra also pushed to others for their son Bobby Dewal, Tushar Kapoor respectively.

Actors Known By Their Father’s Name

Ineligible actors or actress like Uday Chopra, Sonam Kapoor also get opportunities in branded production houses easily. ‘YRF’, ‘Dharma’ and ‘Bhatt Productions’, they do not look people’s talent. They only look after the stamps of the famous parent’s son or daughter and give work to their children.

If someone appears from a small town with a mountain of talent, like Sushant Singh and Kangana Ranaut, they can’t get position in this world. Being first class actors, sometimes they need to act in web series; sometimes they requested on Twitter to their fans to keep themselves in the industry.

On social media, there is a storm on television today about nepotism. The politics of nepotism will end in the industry on the day when the artists are judged on their merits. Whose writings, performances, songs, dances will be nominated by the people of whole country in social media or any other platform.

Then another Sushant Singh Rajput, another Kangana Ranaut, another Nawazuddin Siddiqui or Irfan Khan, Vicky Kaushal or Ayushman Khurana will once again rule Bollywood. On that day, the people like Mahesh Bhatt, Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiwala will be erased from film industry.

Nepotism will leave the Bollywood Empire as forever. Nowadays web series, social media are also very popular. People will recognize the artist’s identity even if they don’t get a place in cinema because this is the age of globalization. Therefore nothing will stop.

The fans will decorate the messy life of their beloved artist with love, and the rest of the life of the artist will be trusted once again. With such confidence, artists like Divya Bharati, Sushant Singh Rajput or Zia Khan will never have to leave so early.
